Schon vor meiner Reise hatte ich erfahren, dass man in diversen Kl\u00f6stern Koreas einen „Templestay“ buchen kann (www.templestay.com). So ein Aufenthalt kann nur ein Tag, aber auch eine ganze Woche sein. Gebucht hatte ich aber keinen. So bin ich in Seoul zum Templestay\u00a0Informationszentrum gegangen. Dort wurde ich umfassend \u00fcber alles beraten und hatte mich dann f\u00fcr einen zweitages\u00a0Aufenthalt im Myogaksa\u00a0Tempel entschieden. Das war an sich sehr praktisch, da der Tempel in der Innenstadt liegt und nicht noch irgendwo anders\u00a0hinreisen musste.<\/p>\n

Ich sollte dort gegen Mittag erscheinen und war dann tats\u00e4chlich der erste der G\u00e4ste. Nach und nach trudelten\u00a0mehr ein. Ein Mexikaner, der ein bisschen durch die Welt tingelt, ein portugiesisches\u00a0P\u00e4rchen auf Weltreise und schlie\u00dflich noch eine Studienklasse mit Austauschstudenten. So war die Gruppe dann doch recht gro\u00df.<\/p>\n

Nachdem wir alle neue Kleidung bekommen hatten, ging das Programm los. Es wurde viel \u00fcber Buddhismus erkl\u00e4rt, es gab eine doch recht anstrengende Bet-Zeremonie mit 108 mal Aufstehen und Hinknien, einer Tour durch die Klosteranlagen\u00a0und Meditationen. Das Programm l\u00e4uft unter dem Namen „Laying\u00a0down\u00a0my\u00a0mind“ und das traf sehr gut zu. Gef\u00fchrt wurden wir durch die Nonne Je-Ha Lee. Sie hat das richtig toll gemacht. Viel Wissen vermittelt und das ganze mit Witz garniert.<\/p>\n

Zum Abschluss des Tages gab es leckeres Essen – bei dem nicht gesprochen werden darf – und bevor wir schlafen gegangen sind, wurde die gro\u00dfe Glocke geschlagen. Dabei hatten wir einen sch\u00f6nen Blick auf die Stadt. Die Betten waren, sehr typisch f\u00fcr Korea, d\u00fcnne Matratzen auf einem beheiztem Fu\u00dfboden. Ein Schlafsaal f\u00fcr die M\u00e4nner und eine f\u00fcr die Frauen.<\/p>\n

Schon um 4:30 wurden wir geweckt. Anschlie\u00dfend wurde wieder die Glocke geschlagen ehe es zur Meditation ging. Dies war schon sehr schwierig, da die M\u00fcdigkeit wieder hoch kam.\u00a0 Dann gab es Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gefolgt von einer „Walking Meditation“ auf den angrenzenden Berg. Eine sehr sch\u00f6ne Erfahrung.<\/p>\n

Den Abschluss des Aufenthalts machte eine Teezeremonie, die nat\u00fcrlich ganz spezielle Regeln hatte.<\/p>\n
