In der Innenstadt, the Shambles und dem York Minster ist man in wenigen Gehminuten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wer mit dem Auto anreist, parkt am besten auf einem gro\u00dfen Parkplatz an der Nunnery Lane. Zwischen 20 und 8 Uhr ist er kostenfrei.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das Hotel selbst ist in einem historischen Geb\u00e4ude, das man tags\u00fcber auch besichtigen kann. Besonders die Kapelle ist sehenswert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ich hatte diesmal ein Einzelzimmer im 3. Stockwerk mit eigenem Bad. Es gibt auch g\u00fcnstigere Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Bis in die zweite Etage kommt man mit einem Aufzug, nach weiter oben f\u00fchrt nur noch eine Steile Treppe. Gro\u00dfe Leute m\u00fcssen etwas mit dem Kopf aufpassen, da die Durchg\u00e4nge niedrig sind, aber die Zimmer haben wieder eine ganz normale Deckenh\u00f6he.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das Hotel wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert. Dabei wurden auch die B\u00e4der erneuert. Neben dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, ist auch schnelles Wlan im Preis inbegriffen. F\u00fcr die Nacht im August habe ich 64 Pfund bezahlt, das f\u00fcr York recht g\u00fcnstig ist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ich hatte mich in dem Hotel sehr wohl gef\u00fchlt und es fehlte an nichts. Das Personal gibt auch sehr gute Tipps, wo man Essen oder nur ein Bier trinken gehen kann.
