Im Retaj Royale hatte ich dieses Jahr bereits eine Nacht verbracht. Da es diesmal ein gutes Angebot von knapp 90 Euro die Nacht gab, hatte ich mich noch einmal f\u00fcr dieses Hotel entschieden. Auch die Lage fand ich recht gut: Nur etwa 10 Gehminuten vom Souq Waqif und der Corniche entfernt, gibt es in der N\u00e4he auch viele Gesch\u00e4fte und Restaurants.<\/p>\n

Ich hatte ein normales Doppelzimmer gebucht und selbst die haben 65m\u00b2 Fl\u00e4che. Also wirklich sehr viel Platz. Ein bequemes Bett, gro\u00dfes Bad mit separater Dusche und Badewanne sowie Bidet, Schreibtisch, Sitzecke und gro\u00dfen Fenstern, allerdings mit einem langweiligen Ausblick. Im gro\u00dfen und ganzen ist auch der Zustand in Ordnung, allerdings sind hier und da doch einige Macken zu sehen.<\/p>\n

Es gibt im 14.Stockwerk auch einen Indoorpool und Fitnessraum, allerdings hatte ich keine Zeit diese zu nutzen, eben sowenig wie die Restaurants. \u00a0Ich hatte zwar 5 N\u00e4chte gebucht, aber die Tage waren doch ziemlich vollgepackt mit Terminen. Mein Tarif war nicht flexibel, was mich normalerweise auch nicht weiter st\u00f6rt. Doch diesmal musste ich einen Tag fr\u00fcher abreisen. Ich\u00a0machte mir wenig Hoffnung eine Nacht erstattet zu bekommen, aber ich fragte an der Rezeption nach. Die sagten mir, sie k\u00f6nnten nichts machen, ich m\u00fcsste das zun\u00e4chst mit booking.com besprechen. Kaum f\u00fcnf Minuten nachdem ich das gemacht hatte, kam schon die Zusage und eine Mail mit der ge\u00e4nderten Buchung. Ein super Service!<\/p>\n

\u00dcbrigens gibt es im Hotel auch ein kleines bewachtes Parkhaus, das man kostenlos nutzen kann. Ebenfalls im Preis ist nat\u00fcrlich kostenloses Wlan, das sogar recht schnell ist.<\/p>\n

Insgesamt also kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.<\/p>\n
