Mal wieder ging es mit Qatar Airways in die Luft. Diesmal von Doha nach Maskat im Oman mit dem Flug QR 1126. Boarding Gate, C21, liegt eine Etage tiefer, daher wird man mit dem Bus zum Flieger gebracht. Der Stand wiederum auf der anderen Seite direkt vor C13 neben dem Finger, der noch nicht in Betrieb war. Da der Flieger aber eh nur gut ein Drittel gef\u00fcllt war, ging das Boarding sehr schnell und wir kamen \u00fcberp\u00fcnktlich los. Der A7-ADD ist Jahrgang 2002, hat also schon einige Jahre auf dem Buckel, aber der Zustand war sehr gut. Da habe ich schon deutlich schlimmeres erlebt.<\/p>\n

Auch der Sitzabstand war erfreulich gro\u00df, was aber bei diesem Flug egal war, da ich eine Dreierreihe (17A-C) f\u00fcr mich hatte. Die Flugzeit nach Maskat war gerade einmal 65 Minuten. W\u00e4hrenddessen gab es das bei Qatar \u00fcbliche Essen: Ein „Sandwich“ – eine Tasche, diesmal gef\u00fcllt mit Chicken Tikka und einem kleinen Blaubeermuffin und dazu wahlweise Wasser oder Orangensaft.<\/p>\n

Auf den Bildschirmen lief irgendein Film \u00fcber Elefanten… bei so kurzen Fl\u00fcgen w\u00e4re eine Karte und Flugdaten interessanter gewesen.<\/p>\n

Aber das Wetter war herrlich und man konnte die bergige Landschaft des Omans sehen. Insgesamt also ein angenehmer Flug.<\/p>\n
