Mal wieder nur auf der Durchreise hatte ich eine g\u00fcnstige Unterkunft mit ausreichend Parkm\u00f6glichkeit gesucht. F\u00fcndig wurde ich beim Ibis Budget, nachdem andere M\u00f6glichkeiten zu teuer waren. Hier zahlte ich 50 Pfund f\u00fcr das Zimmer.<\/p>\n

Das Hotel liegt etwa 2 km n\u00f6rdlich des Zentrums in der N\u00e4he vom Bahnhof Fratton. Direkt nebenan \u00f6ffnet demn\u00e4chst ein Tesco Extra. Au\u00dferdem gibt es einen KFC, Subway, kleiner L\u00e4den und einen Baumarkt in der Umgebung.\u00a0Nicht weit entfernt sind auch einige Pubs und Sportbars, wie das Wetherspoon in der Fratton Road.<\/p>\n

Am Hotel selber gibt es nur einige wenige Parkpl\u00e4tze, jedoch gibt es ein Abkommen mit dem Baumarkt, dass man dort parken darf.<\/p>\n

Derzeit wird das Hotel renoviert und von einem Etap zu einem Ibis Budget umgebaut. Daher funktionierte bei meinem Aufenthalt auch der Aufzug nicht. Ich war jedoch in der vierten Etage in einem bereits fertig gestellten Zimmer untergebracht. Nat\u00fcrlich im typischen Budget Design, das ein wenig an ein Krankenhauszimmer erinnert. Fernseher, Handt\u00fccher, WLAN und Seife sind die kostenlosen Extras, alles andere m\u00fcsste man selber mitbringen. Aber f\u00fcr ein sauberes Zimmer und nur einer Nacht absolut in Ordnung.<\/p>\n

Vorheriges\u00a0mal war ich im Premier Inn Southsea, das mir doch um einiges besser gefiel, besonders auch von der Lage her. Das w\u00fcrde ich wahrscheinlich demn\u00e4chst eher in betracht ziehen.<\/p>\n
